Job Title: Conservation Policy Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conservation Policy Officer to join our team at Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our conservation policy activities, working closely with our Global Trees programme and policy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of conservation policy activities, including policy development, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
  • Work closely with the Global Trees programme to coordinate policy activities and ensure effective implementation.
  • Contribute to the development of policy briefs, reports, and other materials to support conservation policy efforts.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and other conservation organizations, to promote BGCI's conservation policy agenda.
  • Provide administrative support to the policy team, including coordinating meetings, managing documents, and maintaining databases.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in conservation policy, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
