Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Rotational Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our physiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse and complex caseload of musculoskeletal patients, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of education and training programs for patients and staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting their professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a physiotherapist.
  • Significant experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, preferably at Band 5 or Band 6 level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a complex caseload.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing environments, with a willingness to participate in weekend and on-call duties.
