Job Title: Rotational Physiotherapist - Stroke & Neurology

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physiotherapist Apprentice to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a rotational physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work across various settings, including hyper acute care, specialist rehabilitation beds, and integrated community stroke services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with stroke and neurological conditions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registered as a Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience in rotational physiotherapy, including experience in the specialist area of stroke and neurology
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines and national policy direction
