Senior Planner Role

Monroe International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project programmes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project programmes and controls to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the planning team to ensure effective planning and coordination.
  • Ensure that all programmes are compliant with project requirements and develop and agree a sequence of events to ensure the most economical and advantageous construction strategy is adopted.
  • Analyse performance and advise the project team on likely impact and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

  • Major project experience is ideal, but we also encourage applications from candidates who have led the planning and control functions on smaller-scale projects.
  • Life Science project experience is preferred, but any transferrable experiences are beneficial.
  • A good understanding of construction techniques and a HNC / Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar sector-related course, and/or CIOB Membership.
  • Experience in contributing to pre-contact planning, work winning, and processes, producing a Bid Programme and associated time-related information as part of a tender bid team.
  • Project planning experience and knowledge of strategic planning and project/programme management systems.
  • Ability to analyse, collate, and utilise a range of data and information for reporting and forecasting, as well as setting 4D modelling for projects.
