We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispute Resolution Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and organize specialist in-patient caseload for consultants.
- Analyze and gather diagnostics, pre-operative, and theatre information to support eligibility for Co-ordination.
- Coordinate activities for assessment with relevant clinical teams and conduct one-to-one meetings with consultant teams to agree TCI operation lists.
- Ensure Consultant Management Reports are kept up-to-date and queries are addressed in a timely manner.
- Directly book consultant operation lists and ward admissions, and inform clinical teams of progress.
- Liaise with medical secretaries regarding consultant availability and ensure replacement of cancellations are made to achieve full capacity.
- Identify bed availability for admissions in liaison with other relevant departments.
- Responsible for selecting patients for admission, ensuring all access policies and procedures are complied with.
- Liaise with theatre staff regarding availability of specialist equipment required for patients.
- Provide advice and guidance to patients regarding their admission details.
- Deal and direct all patient/client enquiries and correspondence to relevant departments in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records and reports.
