About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior HR Leader to join our team as Interim Deputy Director of People and Culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's success and contribute to the development of our people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the People Services Directorate, ensuring the delivery of our organisational objectives and priorities.
  • Develop and implement effective workforce plans, policies, and procedures that support the achievement of our strategic goals.
  • Lead and manage the development of our people, including talent management, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive organisational change and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to the organisation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with trade unions, employee representatives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our organisational strategy, including the development of business cases and proposals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, with a track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HR legislation, employment law, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on results and delivery.
  • Postgraduate qualification in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
