Main Function of Role:
The Paraplanner plays a crucial role in managing workflows within the department, ensuring that consultants receive timely and precise service. This position entails providing technical and product support throughout the sales process and assisting the Compliance team as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of personal performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct initial assessments of cases to confirm the completeness of required information.
• Research appropriate products based on client needs and circumstances, supplying advisers with evidence of research.
• Gather personal illustrations, key features documents, application forms, and other pertinent information to facilitate business onboarding.
• Provide research services for specialized cases with unique requirements (e.g., health, tax).
• Draft recommendation reports for adviser approval.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping so that all research is accessible at any stage of the process.
• Verify that all business is researched in compliance with regulations and that files demonstrate suitability.
• Assist compliance and other colleagues as directed.
• Offer technical and product query support to Network members.
• Maintain a consistent and up-to-date approach across both Independent and Restricted channels.
• Prepare ongoing service reports for advisers, including the completion of costs and charges.
• Support the administrative team with technical expertise.

Required Qualifications:
• Level 4 or equivalent Paraplanning qualification (RO1, RO6 essential).
• Previous experience in Paraplanning.
• Proficient keyboard skills and practical experience with Word, Excel, and database applications.
• Familiarity with research software, including Capita Fusion, O&M, and Financial Express Analytics.
• Experience with Intelligent Office CRM is advantageous.
