Job Summary

The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of contracts, including contract administration, project coordination, and team supervision. Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration
    • Manage contracts from award to completion, ensuring compliance with company systems and regulations.
    • Coordinate and prioritize workloads for self and others, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Project Coordination
    • Plan and execute projects, including resource allocation and budget management.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and motivate a team of engineers, surveyors, and administrative staff.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
    • Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Client Liaison
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Communicate project progress and status to clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Health and Safety

Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, project management, or a related field.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong understanding of HVAC/electrical systems and their installation methods.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to plan and execute projects, including resource allocation and budget management.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
