Project Management Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of mechanical contracts, including the allocation and prioritization of tasks to ensure efficient project delivery.

Key duties include:

  • Managing a team of projects engineers, surveyors, buyers, and administrative staff to ensure the successful completion of contracts.
  • Scheduling and coordinating the work of contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitoring and controlling project expenditure, including identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing regular progress reports to stakeholders, including project schedules, budgets, and key performance indicators.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Project Manager will require:

  • A strong background in mechanical project management, including experience with HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
