We are currently working with NRG Resourcing Ltd to recruit an experienced Managing Director with a Mechanical & Electrical background to lead M&E operations, supporting sustainable development goals and reporting to the Head of Sustainability.

This role is based in the UK, with a salary of £80,000 + benefits package.

Within this role, you will manage six specialised teams, ensuring efficient, compliant, and innovative project delivery aligned with the sustainability vision.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Shape and lead the M&E strategy to support sustainability targets and operational efficiency.
  2. Commercial & Operational Oversight: Guide the Commercial and Design & Compliance Managers to achieve financial, operational, and regulatory objectives.
  3. Team Management: Support team leaders in mechanical and electrical disciplines, fostering skill development in sustainability practices.
  4. Risk & Compliance: Oversee risk management and compliance across all projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and safety regulations.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to promote sustainable initiatives.

Qualifications
  1. Education & Experience: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; 10+ years in M&E leadership, preferably with sustainable energy experience.
  2. Technical Skills: Expertise in M&E systems, sustainable energy, compliance, and project management.
  3. Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to sustainability.
