About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned and proficient Senior EUC (End-User Computing) Engineer to become a vital member of our IT division. This position emphasizes the management and enhancement of our Windows ecosystem, ensuring effective integration between on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD, as well as utilizing Intune for device oversight. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, executing, and maintaining our end-user computing framework, equipping our personnel with the necessary tools to succeed. You will also oversee one direct report, although prior management experience is not a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Deploy EUC Solutions: Create and implement end-user computing strategies, concentrating on Windows operating systems to boost productivity and security.
- Active Directory Oversight: Administer and sustain on-premises Active Directory systems, including user account management, group policies, and organizational units.
- Azure AD Coordination: Manage the integration of Azure Active Directory, ensuring smooth synchronization and access control between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Intune Management: Implement and oversee Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) to safeguard corporate data and applications.
- Advanced Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance for intricate issues related to end-user devices, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal functionality.
- Security and Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all EUC systems and processes adhere to company policies and industry regulations, with a focus on data protection and cybersecurity.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in IT initiatives, including migrations, upgrades, and deployments, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for EUC systems and processes, and offer training to end-users and IT personnel as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Credentials: Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in EUC engineering or a related field, with a strong emphasis on Windows environments and Active Directory.
- Expertise in managing Windows operating systems and associated technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD, including setup, management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or comparable MDM/MAM solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to collective success.
