Our Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience within the classroom, providing essential support to our educators and fostering strong relationships with both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to support the educational needs of students.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children and adults.
  • Provide tailored assistance to students on a 1:1 basis, particularly those with additional learning requirements.
  • Demonstrate resilience and a solution-oriented approach to challenges.

Apprenticeship Overview:

Annual Wage: Actual salary £11,167 per annum (£13,725 full-time equivalent)
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, Term Time + 1 week inset
Total Weekly Hours: 35 (including the 20% training component of the Apprenticeship)
Duration: Approximately 18 months
Apprenticeship Level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Standard: Teaching Assistant
Essential Qualifications: GCSEs A* - C, with Maths and English being desirable.
