Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster Technician to join our team at Everpool. As a Claims Adjuster Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Loss Adjusters in managing high-value and complex claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Clients: Communicate with clients in a professional and efficient manner to ensure their needs are met.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to Loss Adjusters to ensure the smooth running of claims.
  • Task Management: Check tasks on claims management systems and tidy up multiple tasks on one file to ensure service levels are met.
  • Progress Updates: Regularly call customers to update them on the progress of their claim.
  • Supplier Communication: Call suppliers to chase progression on claims.
  • Invoice Production: Produce invoices for relevant stages of the claim.
  • Project Planning: Update project plans where applicable for the Adjuster.
  • Supplier Appointment: Appoint relevant suppliers following an Adjuster's site visit.
  • Documentation Management: Chase documentation to conclude settlement on claims where needed.
  • Complaint Resolution: Assist with complaints, ensuring the Loss Adjuster achieves resolution, follow-up action, and the Loss Adjuster has sent the relevant documentation to the correct parties.
Requirements
  • Core GCSEs or Equivalent: Possess core GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Previous experience in the insurance industry, preferably in household claims, is highly desirable but not essential.
  • CII or CILA Qualifications: Possess CII or CILA qualifications, preferably at Cert level, or be working towards them.
Working Hours and Benefits
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, between 9am and 5pm.
  • Holidays: 28 days holiday per year, plus birthday off work and charity days off.
