Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Management: Develop and implement strategic plans and operational objectives to drive the organisation's mission and goals.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage services across Birmingham, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are delivered to contract agreement.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure the quality of the physical environment and standards of services provided to citizens meet or exceed expectations.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify and implement creative solutions to enhance service delivery and resident experience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with citizens, local authorities, and other external bodies to build effective relationships, address community needs, and advocate for resources and support.
  • Financial Management: Effectively prepare and monitor budgets to ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of service quality and care.
  • Staff Management and Development: Manage, schedule, and support staff to efficiently deliver citizen-centric services, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and professional growth.
  • Organisational Excellence: Implement systems and processes to streamline operations, improve quality, and enhance the citizen experience throughout the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Management experience in mental health or housing or CQC services.
  • Experience managing multi-services and regional or operations experience.
