About The Role

In your role as a Care Assistant at HC-One, you'll embody kindness and compassion in every aspect of our care homes. Our residents are people with their own stories to tell, and by joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team at our care home. Whether we're providing long or short-term care, our focus is on delivering the highest quality service at all times.

About You

As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll take responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our residents. You'll assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals.

You'll deliver care that comes from the heart, ensuring our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality. You'll get involved in general activities within the care home, helping residents with limited mobility to learn to use aids, offering emotional support to confused or distressed residents, or delivering care to someone at the end of their life.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and you'll be able to recognize the signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if you have concerns. You'll also have the ability to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
