Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical and local authority teams to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each young person.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care and support provided, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive living environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, as required.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (for some roles).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and reference checks.
