About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and discuss the Security Assurance Plan (SAP) with GE teams and stakeholders.
  2. Contribute to cybersecurity design and requirements, and participate in design reviews.
  3. Create and maintain cybersecurity engineering documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  4. Develop and follow detailed test plans and procedures for cybersecurity functions.
  5. Configure cybersecurity devices and perform unit and integration testing, providing support as needed.
Requirements
  1. University Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, ideally with Cyber Security Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer and Electronics engineering.
  2. Demonstrated experience in project security, preferably in an Operational Technology (OT) environment.
  3. In-depth experience within the Electrical Industry or in a similar role.
  4. Experience in Industrial communication network and system security IEC 62443 standards.
  5. Knowledge of NIST Cyber security framework.
  6. Knowledge of NERC CIP standards.
Desired Characteristics
  1. Pro-activeness, sense of urgency, resistance to pressure, autonomy; ability to interact with multiple functions and teams worldwide.
  2. Fluent English speaking and writing mandatory.
  3. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  4. Cyber security certification is an advantage.
