We are seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer to join our team at Spectrum IT Recruitment. This is a hybrid role that requires at least 1 day a week in the office, with an expectation to spend more time in the office initially.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in systems administration and cloud security, with proficiency in O365 tools. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a third-party SOC function
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and minimising the impact of cybersecurity incidents
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business
Requirements:
- Expert Cyber Security knowledge – Principals, technologies and best practices
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience in leading incident response efforts
- Knowledge of SIEM Platforms
