Service Manager Anaesthetics Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Business Partner to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Workforce & Organisational Development Team, you will work strategically with our Corporate divisions to understand their service strategies and business objectives.
Main Duties of the JobThe Workforce Business Partner will be responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of workforce and organisational development strategies. This will involve providing regular reports, analysis, and recommendations for action against key performance indicators and transformational change objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement workforce and organisational development strategies to support the delivery of our key strategic aims.
- Provide expert advice on workforce planning, employment law, and HR best practice to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead on the identification of workforce-related cost efficiency schemes and support their delivery.
- Support hearings, appeal panels, and complex investigations as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to support the effective management of the workforce.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Significant experience of providing highly complex advice on workforce matters, demonstrating developed persuasive, motivational, and negotiating skills.
- Experience of analysing highly complex workforce data, identifying risk, and developing tailored solutions.
- Experience of working in a senior management role, including operational HR and strategic HR practices.
- CIPD Qualified – MCIPD, Masters level or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Expert knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
