About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Functional Skills Administrator to join our team at Pearson. As a key member of our Apprenticeship Programme, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our Functional Skills qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and input Functional Skills exam data into our Management Information System (MIS).
  • Register apprentices on the BKSB e-learning platform and issue login information as required.
  • Manage Awarding Organisation registration and certification processes for Functional Skills provision, adhering to strict timelines.
  • Process Speaking and Listening claims with the relevant Awarding Organisation.
  • Monitor and record Functional Skills results and disseminate to relevant Pearson TQ staff and stakeholders.
  • Support the Functional Skills Manager/Senior Functional Skills Manager in developing and coordinating quality assurance systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Excellent organisational, administration, interpersonal/communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to promote learning and opportunity for all.
