Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Site Administrator / Document Controller to join our team at Search. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation and information for the site is in place and effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Control: Manage and control versions of drawings, ensuring that drawing numbering protocols are followed and approvals are obtained from consultants and subcontractors.
- Filing and Organization: Maintain a well-organized site office filing system, ensuring that all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Communication: Handle incoming calls and visitors to the site, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all queries are resolved promptly.
- Health and Safety: Produce and manage a Health and Safety file, which will be passed to the client on completion of the project.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the construction team, including carrying out various other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Document Controller or Administration role within a construction site setting is essential.
- IT Skills: Solid IT skills, including the full Microsoft Office suite, are required. Experience of SharePoint, ShareFile, Viewpoint, or Procore would be highly advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills are required, with the ability to prioritize and complete workload effectively.
