About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Paediatric Physiotherapy Team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and operational management of Physiotherapists working in Paediatrics.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and management of Physiotherapists in Paediatrics, ensuring a high-quality, effective, and efficient physiotherapy service.
  • Develop and implement clinical initiatives, modernisation projects, and quality initiatives to enhance the physiotherapy service.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Lead of Physiotherapy to develop the service and provide expert training, advice, and clinical education to service providers, users, and commissioners.
  • Act as clinical lead for Paediatrics, working closely with the Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team Lead to develop and deliver the children's therapy service.
  • Deputise for the Professional Lead of Physiotherapy as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • Be HCPC Registered.
  • Have extensive post-graduate training and experience in Paediatrics.
  • Have knowledge of SEND legislation and its application within healthcare.
  • Have evidence of further education in paediatrics and clinical leadership training or equivalent.
