We are seeking a dedicated Project Agent to become a vital part of our Major Projects HPC division.

Location: Somerset, Bridgewater
Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Agent, you will play a crucial role within the major projects HPC team, taking charge of a project by effectively managing resources, including personnel, finances, and physical assets, ensuring safety and timely delivery to the highest standards.

You will be an integral member of our expanding roads and networks team, responsible for the development of permanent roads and networks that connect the main facilities, facilitating the commissioning and operational readiness of the power station. Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Overseeing a significant segment of the project, ensuring accurate documentation of all labor, equipment, materials, and supply chain resources.
  • Assisting in the execution and oversight of Performance and Health & Safety policies and procedures in alignment with Kierbam standards, including reporting and auditing via the clients' Insight system.
  • Encouraging collaborative efforts among project team members to foster a unified team spirit, including the growth and development of team members.
  • Assuming full responsibility for the financial management of your project, ensuring stringent control over Target Cost, actual expenditures, and forecasts through commercial acumen and site-based systems such as CEMAR.

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities, including experience in leading and managing technical teams.
  • Capability to effectively engage with clients.
  • Proficiency in identifying project requirements and motivating the team to achieve desired outcomes in terms of quality, cost, and schedule.
