Senior CAD Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Designer to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Senior CAD Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the Submarine sector of our business.

About the Role

This is a world-leading defence organisation, working across land, air, and sea. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and production of the 3D model of the whole boat primary structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop 3D models of complex systems and equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements
  • Develop and maintain CAD packages, including FORAN, NX, and Solidworks
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a design role, preferably in a high-hazard industry
  • Strong knowledge of CAD packages, particularly FORAN, NX, and Solidworks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
