Operative - Build-up and Breakdown

About the Role

As a Build-up and Breakdown Operative with OCS Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of exhibition halls. This includes the removal of debris and waste generated from stand building materials and customer products. You will also be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and delivering services to agreed standards.

You will work on a casual basis, Monday to Sunday, from 08:00 to 20:00. Your duties will include:

  • Loading and disposing of waste in a responsible manner
  • Removing foreign objects from floor areas
  • Ensuring exhibition halls are left in a clean and organized condition
  • Sweeping and collecting rubbish
  • Assisting tractor drivers with waste collection
  • Ensuring correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times
  • Removing rubbish from exhibition halls to the Waste Pre-Treatment Centre (WPTC)
