Position Overview
Join the Alternatives sector within Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a lawyer based in London, specializing in Private Credit across the EMEA region. Your responsibilities will encompass transaction support and execution for debt-related agreements, covering a broad spectrum of credit transactions such as leveraged finance, structured credit investments, and regulatory initiatives. You will collaborate with investment professionals from different departments, oversee external legal counsel, and assist in fundraising efforts within the platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proactive team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting
- Qualified lawyer in the UK, US, or EU
- 1-4 years of post-qualification experience, with a preference for in-house experience
- Experience in European cross-border transactions is advantageous
- Background in acquisition/leveraged finance or restructuring, along with general banking knowledge
