**About the Role**

Arbuthnot Yon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer to join our team in a mid-level position. As a key member of our global legal team, you will be responsible for advising on complex deal structuring, managing the life cycle of transactions, and supporting the management of a robust loan, equity, and real estate portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Advise on complex deal structuring across a portfolio of international clients, taking full responsibility for drafting and negotiating legal documentation across leveraged finance, real estate, and M&A transactions;
  • Manage the life cycle of a transaction from embryonic/strategic stages through to execution;
  • Support the management of a robust loan, equity, and real estate portfolio.

**Requirements**

  • Experience in leveraged finance and private credit, with a strong background in complex deal structuring and transaction management;
  • Ability to work autonomously, with significant responsibility over a portfolio of clients, and a reporting line directly to the Global General Counsel;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to disseminate complex legal matters through a commercial lens for a non-legal audience;
  • Experience in in-house teams, particularly in credit/distressed debt funds, restructuring, or real estate, would be highly valued.
