About the Role:

The Funds Lawyer will provide legal support to the Private Credit business, working closely with the Distribution, Fund Management, and Investment Management teams. This role will involve distilling complex regulations and legal issues into practical advice, taking a commercial approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Legal team in London, covering the Private Credit asset management business
  • Take a commercial approach to problem-solving, including distilling complex regulations and legal issues into practical advice
  • Work on cross-border transactions, communicating effectively between global regions
  • Have strong familiarity with European and UK asset management regimes and private fund structures
  • Have experience with fund structures in other jurisdictions, particularly the US
