We are partnering with a local authority in Haringey to support the appointment of a Housing Liaison Officer on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. If you're interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the organization's emergency response team to coordinate actions and provide support to residents.
- Manage incidents of low-level antisocial behavior, including harassment, nuisance, and neighbor disputes, taking appropriate action in liaison with Haringey Council, Police, and other agencies.
- Support the effective management and reletting of void properties by conducting pre-termination visits, accompanied viewings, sign-ups, and new tenant visits, ensuring new tenants are aware of their responsibilities under the tenancy agreement.
- Provide general advice on housing options, including transfers or other tenancy-related issues, and support new tenants in settling into their homes.
- Ensure robust tenancy sustainment by working across the patch, collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve successful outcomes, escalating complex cases to the Senior Housing Officer as necessary.
Requirements:
- A high standard of literacy and numeracy.
- Commitment to taking responsibility for own learning and development.
- Experience working with the general public, preferably in a service delivery setting.
- Ability to work in a diverse community.

- You should be available to start immediately or at short notice.
- You should have the right to work in the UK.
- This role requires a basic DBS.
