Position Overview:

As a Principal Engineer specializing in Body Structures, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge electric vehicles. This position offers a competitive salary along with a car allowance and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manipulate geometric designs for effective communication of concepts and schemes.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Engineer, Body & Closures, in daily operations.
- Utilize Catia software to spearhead the creation of 3D models for body structures.
- Manage Engineering Bill of Materials (BoM) and oversee cost and weight packaging.
- Conduct feasibility checks on design surfaces and provide guidance.
- Generate engineering hard-points and benchmark competitor vehicles, documenting findings.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Package, Analysis, Manufacturing, DVA, etc.) to implement recommendations for optimal releases.
- Store and manage data in TCUA and PLM systems.

Qualifications:

- A relevant engineering degree with substantial experience in body structure design.
- Proven track record in automotive or motorsport sectors, with hands-on experience in CAD (Catia).
- Comprehensive understanding of the complete vehicle development cycle for body structures.
