The recruitment Bunker are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer for a leading company based in Coventry.

Reporting into the Programme Director the Project Engineer will play a pivotal role utilising various techniques to ensure that the project deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.Overview of the role

•Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

•Holidays: 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays

Responsibilities

Company Policies: Follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company

To oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects

Assessing production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project

Compiling data derived from reports, revising time schedules according to necessity overseeing the quality of work at project site

Support project review meetings

Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actions

Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects

Produce product design and development plans

Ensuring all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients’ necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions.

Essential Skills

Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within powertrain or within a Project Management role, in a fast paced, forward-thinking business

Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers

Ability to manage one’s own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordingly

Proven record of people & project management

Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings

Plans work and cascades to team

Integrates departmental planning with other business units

Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism

Organised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workload

Must be willing to travel

Must have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.

Desirable Skills

Experience and knowledge of designing project guideline and procedures

Can lead moderate teams

Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
