About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our residential care team in Stockton-On-Tees. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a residential home and working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality care to young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring a strong and stable workforce
  • Foster consultation with young people to ensure their voices are heard and valued
  • Allocate key workers to each young person, ensuring personalized support and care
  • Maintain high standards of care, adhering to National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose
  • Handle complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people

We offer a competitive salary of £47,851 per annum, plus an achievable £5,000 OTE bonus. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or a willingness to start within 6 months of employment
  • Knowledge of National Minimum Standards, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements
  • Efficient planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership skills
  • Confidence in effective spoken and written communication
