We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a residential home and working closely with stakeholders to promote the welfare of young people.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, ensuring that each young person has a dedicated Key Worker.
- Foster open communication with young people, parents, and carers to ensure their needs are met.
- Maintain high standards of care, adhering to National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
- Address complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote the welfare of young people and ensure their needs are met.
- At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months of employment.
- Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Efficient planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership skills.
- Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
- Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour.
- Full UK driving license.
