DevOps Engineer - Azure DevOps/CI/CD/Terraform and Ansible - is sought by a prominent and successful technology organization.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to become a part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will take charge of designing, executing, and sustaining our infrastructure solutions, ensuring the smooth and dependable delivery of software through CI/CD pipelines, while utilizing contemporary DevOps methodologies.

Core Responsibilities:

- Design, execute, and oversee CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps.

- Develop and sustain infrastructure as code through Terraform and Ansible.

- Monitor and manage both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including VMware, AWS, and Azure environments.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize and enhance the software delivery process.

- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.

- Automate operational processes and improve deployment strategies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment challenges.

- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to guarantee system performance and availability.

- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and infrastructure management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and practices for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Proficient in managing and monitoring VMware environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, or VMware.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with additional configuration management tools.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of infrastructure.

Contract Details:

Competitive daily rate.

6-month rolling contract.
