Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver structural designs for projects in line with applicable design standards and regulations
  • Lead the Structural Engineering design process and provide oversight and management
  • Coordinate and manage structural sub-consultants and specialized supply chains
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality Engineering services
  • Adhere to Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and present findings to senior management

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Significant experience in drainage systems
  • Proficient in cut and fill design methodologies
  • Experience in developing Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) strategies for large projects
  • A degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with design software
  • Knowledge of current UK design standards and practices
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
