Job Summary:

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in experimental trials, improvement activities, and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders and other functions to enhance inspection techniques and improve quality processes.
  • Develop and implement quality procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or relevant experience and/or ONC or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standards.
  • Ability to generate and improve upon inspection instructions, inspection reports, and other specific role documentation.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to develop solutions to issues in a unique manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in technical role requirements and understanding of Basic Quality Tools and World Class Manufacturing.
  • Good inter-personnel skills and flexible with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate, competent in using the Microsoft Office range of software.
