Nuclear Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Operations Specialist to join our Communications Team at AWE Plc.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain communications and IT systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
- Proven organisational skills to actively manage schedules to meet demand and adapt to short notice changes.
- Collaborate with the Operational Support Team to complete work allocated by the Task Manager, including operational readiness, management of assets, and assurance activities.
- Demonstrate and promote high standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.
- Engage and build internal and external relationships related to the task undertaken by the team.
- Experience of managing and maintaining communications and IT systems, with awareness of associated security and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Ability to travel around the UK and occasionally abroad, with a full clean car driving licence.
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
