About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Communications Manager to join our team at Beam Suntory. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans to build brand awareness and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to support brand launches, product introductions, and other key business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of communications plans.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and other stakeholders to secure media coverage and build brand reputation.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials to support brand awareness and media outreach efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media conversations, and other key metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with the global brand public relations team to execute strategies for the UK market and ensure consistency with global brand objectives.
  • Develop and maintain the annual communications calendar to ensure alignment with business objectives and key brand initiatives.
  • Manage and control annual communications budget and brand investments in line with UK marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong background in communications management, particularly in PR and influencer marketing.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders and media contacts.
  • Strong experience with consumer-insight led planning and activation, with a proven ability to clearly define objectives and evaluate and monitor communications campaigns.
  • Self-reliance and interpersonal skills to interact at all levels of the business.
