Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Stewarding Staff to join our team at Frasers Group. As an Event Stewarding Staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to our health, safety, and welfare policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Conduct regular safety checks to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Control and direct customer flow to prevent overcrowding and ensure a smooth event experience.
- Assist in the safe operation of the venue, including staffing entrances, exits, and other strategic points.
- Recognize and respond to crowd conditions to prevent overcrowding and ensure safe ingress, circulation, and egress.
- Assist customers and emergency services in the event of an emergency.
- Respond to emergencies, raise the alarm, and take necessary immediate action.
- Undertake specific duties in an emergency or as directed by an event manager or security manager.
- Provide basic emergency first aid.
- Be willing to undertake NVQ Level 2 Spectator Safety training.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required for the role.
