**Job Title:** Academic Office Manager
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Academic Office Manager to join our team at Career Legal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our busy office team and ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Senior Operations Managers and Support Services Directors to ensure a consistent and on-budget approach to the provision of administration services.
- Manage, train, and develop staff in the office to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Liaise with the Manchester Partner to ensure office and support staff adhere to firm-wide file management policies and procedures.
- Assist with the recruitment of operations staff for the office.
- Supervise FOH, TAs, General Office, and Central Registry staff, including holiday approvals and ensuring adequate cover is provided during absence periods.
- Liaise on H&S risk assessments for new staff and after internal desk moves if applicable.
Requirements:
- Office Manager experience within a professional services environment (essential).
- Experience in a law firm (desirable).
