About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Test Design Engineer to join our team in the Livingston Design Centre. As a key technical expert, leader, and mentor, you will be responsible for developing test systems and fixtures that meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
  • Develop and implement design verification and validation procedures.
  • Report project status to the project manager in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide customer service leadership in project technical discussions and support business development and proposal creation.
  • Install and maintain automated functional test equipment, including repair and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software problems, minimizing downtime.
  • Update and release tester hardware, software, and design documentation to accommodate Engineering Change Orders.
  • Perform incremental tester design verification and validation and update associated documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 8+ years of experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as LabVIEW, TestStand, C++, and C#.
  • Strong capabilities in decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrates robust analytical skills and a solid understanding of electronic components.
  • Familiar with structured design principles and capable of collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
