Job Title: Senior Product Test Development Engineer

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex test equipment and systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test equipment and systems to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test equipment and systems meet customer needs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our test equipment and systems remain competitive
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in test development and engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design
  • Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation
  • Proven experience in handover and management of designs in production
  • Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products
  • Good communicator
  • Eligible for MOD Security Clearance to a minimum of SC level
Desirable Skills:
  • Significant test development experience in industry
  • Use of Mentor Graphics schematic entry and PCB layout tools
  • Understanding of common test architectures PXI/d LXI
  • Measurement Uncertainty and its application in test equipment design and validation
  • Software Certification or detailed knowledge of: NI LabView, NI CVI, NI TestStand, C#
