Job Title: Senior Product Test Development Engineer

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex test equipment and systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop functional test equipment and systems
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of test equipment and provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers
  • Document design specifications and implementation details, and participate in design reviews
  • Collaborate with other team members to agree system designs, interfaces, and protocols
  • Develop test hardware, test software, and procedures to prove the correct operation of hardware
  • Provide support to manufacturing and answer product queries and resolve technical issues
  • Monitor and report progress of test development to immediate supervisor and development team
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or related subject
  • Test software design experience
  • Excellent knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design
  • Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation
  • Proven experience in handover and management of designs in production
  • Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products
  • Good communicator
  • Eligible for MOD Security Clearance to a minimum of SC level
