About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Electrophysiology team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions, while also leading and managing a team of nurse specialists and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with electrophysiology and arrhythmia conditions
  • Lead and manage a team of nurse specialists and support staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for staff and patients
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Child) or Registered Nurse with relevant experience in Paediatric healthcare
  • Experience in electrophysiology and arrhythmia nursing, with a strong understanding of cardiac conditions and treatments
  • Leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care
