Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cardiology department, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with electrophysiology-related conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care pathways.
- Develop and implement education and training programs for healthcare professionals and patients, promoting best practice and improving patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines, ensuring that our services are aligned with the latest evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with our research team to identify opportunities for research and quality improvement, driving innovation and excellence in our field.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- NMC Registered Nurse (Child) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in paediatric cardiology or a related field, with a strong understanding of electrophysiology principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
