This role will be a key member of our Information Security Team, reporting directly to our OT Security Manager. You will be responsible for general information and cyber security, planning for regulatory compliance, supporting operations connectivity, dealing with cyber attacks, and assisting on audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and processes
- Respond to security-related incidents and provide timely resolutions
- Plan and implement proactive security projects to mitigate risks
- Protect Southern Water's assets from cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats, identifying areas for improvement
- Review and assess architectural solutions to ensure security compliance
- Conduct security assessments for Industrial Control Systems
- Monitor and report on compliance to IT security standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in information security, with a focus on critical national infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, threat assessment, and vulnerability management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating complex security findings to stakeholders
- Positive problem-solving attitude, with a focus on proactive security measures
- Full driving license and access to a car for site visits
