Southern Water is committed to building a greener future, tackling climate change, and reducing its environmental impact. As we embark on this journey, we are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team.
This role will be a key member of our Information Security Team, reporting to our OT Security Manager. You will be responsible for general information and cyber security, planning for regulatory compliance, supporting operations connectivity, dealing with cyber attacks, and assisting on audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and processes
- Respond to security-related incidents and provide timely resolutions
- Plan and implement proactive security projects to mitigate risks
- Protect Southern Water's assets from cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Monitor and defend against cyber attacks and threats
- Review and assess architectural solutions for security
- Conduct security assessments for Industrial Control Systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in information security, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection
- Experience in threat assessment and vulnerability management across ICS
- Knowledge of control system protocols and security best practices
- Full driving license and ability to travel to sites across the south of England
