About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized SSC Associate to join our BDO UK team. As an SSC Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of HR-related administration and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a seamless candidate onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth transition for new joiners.
  • Creation of offer letters and contracts, ensuring compliance with firm-wide processes.
  • Manage the full process of background screening for candidates, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR guidelines.
  • Cross-train with colleagues in the EH recruitment team, learning new processes and improving service delivery.
  • Ensure quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the HR Shared Service offering, focusing on client service excellence.
  • Work closely with other HR teams, including Resourcing, Employee Relations, Reward, and HR Generalist teams, to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • A / AS Level education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience within an HR operational delivery role, ideally within a Shared Service structure.
  • Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Previous experience of working with HR Systems.
  • Understanding of confidentiality & GDPR.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Process-oriented, able to work within SLAs to ensure our service meets the demands of the business.
  • A high level of personal commitment to task completion.
  • Values diversity of colleagues and demonstrates capability to work along and as part of a team.
