Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized SSC Associate to join our HR Shared Service team. As an SSC Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of HR-related administration and ensuring a seamless candidate onboarding experience. You will work closely with the HR team to provide exceptional service to our clients and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a seamless candidate onboarding experience, ensuring a positive first impression for new joiners
  • Creation of offer letters and contracts, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures
  • Manage the full process of background screening for candidates, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR guidelines
  • Cross-train with colleagues in the EH recruitment team, learning new processes and procedures to enhance service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with firm processes during the onboarding experience, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Focus on client service excellence, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Partners and employees in the wider BDO business
  • Work closely with other HR teams, such as Resourcing, Employee Relations, Reward, and HR Generalist teams, to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Ensure quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the HR Shared Service offering, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements
  • A / AS Level education or equivalent, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Proven experience within an HR operational delivery role, ideally within a Shared Service structure, with a focus on candidate onboarding and HR administration
  • Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook), with experience of working with HR Systems
  • Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR, with the ability to maintain high standards of data protection
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines
  • High level of focus and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Process-oriented, with the ability to work within SLAs to ensure service delivery meets business demands
  • A high level of personal commitment to task completion, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop
