About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SSC Associate to join our team in Liverpool City Centre. As a key member of our Shared Service Centre, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective administration and assurance of our Conflicts of Interest (COI), Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake internal "After the Event" Quality Assurance reviews to confirm that all appropriate On-Boarding due diligence have been carried out.
  • Creation and management of internal review reporting, including initial findings, draft and final reports, and necessary issues and actions logs.
  • AML/CTO2 Champion - maintain knowledge and expertise, and support and develop colleagues across the SSC and BDO.
  • Deal with internal queries from Client/Project teams and SSC teams on the firm's "AML Guidance" and how it should be applied.
  • Liaise with Partners and other senior stakeholders to resolve and remediate any deficiencies identified as part of the review process.
  • Support the BAU team with ad hoc projects for the Standard Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence and the Research teams.
  • Provide ongoing support to the firm's Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Economic Crime Team, alongside regular feedback on key areas of fault identified as part of the review.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, and the implementation/application of these regulations in real-world scenarios.
  • IT skills - strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet research.
  • Well-presented with a professional level of communication.
  • Strong verbal communication, and experience dealing with difficult conversations.
  • Strong written communication, with experience collating information into navigable and clear reports.
  • Experience with time management and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise and support an organised workload.
